hi peeps, ive been collecting bits and bobs for the last 6 months, i thought i would start with a cheapy first, as ive not built a bike in 20 years!
I know it wont be everyones cuppa, but i thought it turned out quite nice... considering it only took me 2 hours today aswell. 
looking forward to getting my dp finished now to! dont know why, but the red frame keeps coming out orange in the pics!

parts used, all nos apart from the frame set and seat!

haro 87 rs2 f+f
ukai 1.5 with suzie lf hubs
cheapy comp 3 style tyres, reissue comps 3's on the way!
tange bottom bracket
sugino spider + chain ring + bolts
izumi silver chain
dia-compe chrome 901 caliper
dia-compe tec 4 lever with home made black cover
dia-compe silver cable
cw style win bars
suntour silver power stem
ame tri grips with red dounuts
tange headset
viscount haro seat
haro post
haro double clamp
rudd bear trap pedals
ow and some fluffy dice......

cheers mate, to be fair it rides nice and its pretty nippy, even with me on..... i might take it to my old track in leicester, its western park! some of you on here will probs remember the track!

Although, I suppose, you can spend a lot more!!

I'm Leicester too, the old western park track isn't what it was is it? Huncote is more my style, I can ride that a bit!

hi mark, ive not been to western for 20 years, it used to be mint, remember watching top riders there all the time..... may have to pay a visit!

to be fair mate my dp f+f cost more than this build, pretty chuffed with it!  :daumenhoch:

hi mate, the lever covers are plastic just like the sharp ones, i use them on jobs at work believe it not!
i looked at one the other day, and thought, i have a use for you my little beauty!
they are about double that length to start with, just cut to size with side snips, bit of wd 40 and on it went!
they also fit tec3 aswell..... can get shed loads if you fancy a set! for a small fee of course. :daumenhoch:
