Dagenham Track Improvements

We have great Pleasure in confirming that the council have appointed Tony Slater and Craig Schofield to implement the track improvements which once the council pull their fingers out and get the contracts signed should commence on the 8th March. The track will be closed for 4 weeks while the improvements are being made.

A new Lacey Barrell Gate and Spectator area are part of the plans and these should, all being well be all done in time for the Inter Regional in May.

Well done to Sharon, Matt and the rest of the committee who have made this happen, just proof that if you keep pushing the buttons things will happen!

in a nutshell Lee - everything.   

New barrell gate, redesign of whole track (same basic layout) and spectator area.  Plans are being drawn as we speak - as soon as i know ill post up.

It's funny you say that Mike, Talking to Tony at bournemouth he was suggesting old school speed jumps, a water jump and hay bales :LolLolLolLol:
