these were well battered when i got them


a good rub down with 1200 wet n dry, soaked in bleach for a couple of days as there were some dark stains on them (use a cat to stir them >:D) and then dyed with rit dye and i used a wallpaper stripper to keep the mixture simmering(this was snavala's top tip) take the plate off the stripper and put the pipe in the tub, worked a treat.


gave the rims to dirty diggler to build as he loves them, got the decals off del and...






these have turned out really good, the best ive done yet that rit dye is the dogz nutz :daumenhoch:

im glad you mentioned it, its the 1st time ive used it and the final results are top quality, it seems to give a richer colour than dylon, i dyed a green kashi black aswell and that is spot on, rit dye...its the future :D

i didnt bother with a tab when i put my tuffs in mine

had a go at my set this morning.....used the Snav method with the steam stripper and i was well impressed!

from this


bunged em in the pot with the Rit dye and steamer

took em out an hour later
