the £10 barcode
« on: March 05, 2010, 08:06 PM »
picked up another Terrible One barcode off the bay for a measley £10!!!!

the malyon i got is now stripped and is the one behind it,

i thought i'd got the year worked out with it having the asymetric dropouts but the headtube is different to the kastans,
any ideas?

thinking tan/beige for this one,

thats 3 barcodes and the paul b frame, starting to feel a bit of a T1 collection coming on ::)

now,

who has a progression frame for me? :LolLolLolLol:

Is the Barcode timeline still up on the T-1 site? I think there was something on there about the headtube change.

i checked with that timeline before it arrived and expected it to be a kastan,

the downtube is larger than toptube and theres no T cutout in the gusset making it not from the maas run,

the guy i bought it from said it was his from 98/99 which would make it a spooky barcode, what you think?

Looking at the timeline & the straight gauge headtube/1.75 downtube etc it sure looks like it, the only thing that is different is the cable guides, none of the frames in the timeline pics show that type? Only other thing I could think of is there was some early Kastans built without the stepped headtube & different guides?
