85 Haro Master
« on: March 04, 2010, 06:52 PM »
This is my one and only freestyle bike in my current collection (all of my other bikes are racers). Always liked the look of the 85 Master with the rear drop-outs etc, so when the opportunity to acquire this came along I jumped at the chance. Anyway, got hold of the frameset last year from a fellow Radster and slowly started the build process.

All the chrome is original and after a few hours of polishing it came up quite nice.

Surprising how a set of decals can transform a frameset.

Cranks and brakes fitted.

Finally finished.

It's not 100% era correct, but I built it how I like it using some of the bits used on the Masters of the 80's  ;)

SPEC
85 Haro Master Frame & Forks
Sugino CT175 Cranks
KKT Rat Trap Pedals
Alloy Hubbed Skyway Tuffs
Panaracer Freestyle Tyres
Dia Compe MX1000's with Tech 4 Levers
Redline Forklifter Stem
Haro Master Bars
AME Tri Grips
Viscount Dominator Seat
DC MX Seat Clamp
Izumi Chain

Thanks to everyone who supplied me with the bits for this build.
Hope you like it.

I'm really loving that, but second the opinion for some kind of platform pedal (DX, SX, Graphite-X, MP-470 etc)  :daumenhoch:
