I've got these old mag wheels and the hubs are old and rusty and feel very 'grindy' when you turn the axle, I know nothing about wheel hubs so is there anything I should be looking out for when I strip and rebuild them?

Take em to bits and bang all the metal pars into petrol or derv (in a jam far)

Leave for a day or so and they should be better. Give em a clean up and put em back together with lots of grease.

Just remember the orderyou took em to bits and you cant go wrong

Just be careful not to lose your balls when you strip 'em

If your balls are rusted and pitted when you look at them, you can buy new shiney smooth ones from any bike shop - be sure to take one with you to match up
