Was great to see all you bummers once again, great Racing as well.

Dave's flying on the Burner so watch out Diggler one day it will pass you  ;D

Hopefully the footage will be ok, not done any filming before (appart from in digglers dungeon) so it might be a bit hit and miss in places.  :D
Also got a few bits of before and after race footage of the old-skool mob so it might be worth puting a montage together Moley?

Took delivery of Marks Aero Pro F/F (big thanks Mark (OBB)) so might just be having a pump round at the back in the summer series - wrist strength dependant.

So Greg ill keep you company mate  :daumenhoch:

I wouldn't worry Greg.

I was well off the pace at Leeds due to not being on a bike since beginning of December and it was all down to lack of gate practices/track time since october.

To get better all you need is track time.   With Nhoj, Andyrooski, Jon the Bassist and all the other reprobates around the Leeds/Bradford area then you have plenty of peeps to have a roll with.   Spring can't be far away.  Get yourself to some gate practices and sunday get togethers and maybe some mid week gate practices and you'll soon get back into it and improve.

I was well fooked at Leeds and lack of track time showed.

Racing OS wont be the same if your not there.    Anyway OS isn't about winning, its about the craic.   You've got all the equipment.   You have 3 tracks within easy reach.    Try and make time and you'll soon reap the benefits.

So cheer up ya bugger.   :daumenhoch:

Fookin 'ell Davey boy!!     Really bad news mate!!!   :'(

I hope ya get well soon and it hasn't put you off!!

JD filmed the incident and the footage will be up late tonight or tomorrow morning.     It looked a nasty fall.  :(

After spraining my wrist and JD's and Davey's injuries.......................

Are wrist braces any good?  Do they offer enough protection?  Are they too bulky?      Any advise or recommendations?

yeah, get well soon Davey :daumenhoch:

Greg, I feel like I'm talking to my son, the most important thing is to have a good time and enjoy youself.  Like Moley said, if you want to get better come and have a roll round with me and Rooski for an hour on a weekend.  I'm taking the lad to Bradders on Saturday for two hours, try him on a micro-mini, get yourself down :daumenhoch:

Ah, bad luck Davey! I know you put a lot into getting down to Leeds this Sunday... maximum respect.

Aye, me and my lad will be getting in some practice at the W Yorks tracks over the coming weeks if anyone wants to join in. Can't do this Saturday at Bradford but will probably get an hour in at Yeadon on the Sunday.

Holly Shizle Davey, your one tough guy for driving home with the wrist the way it is.

Get well soon mate I feel for ya, it was a hell of a slam - I felt the ground shake from where I was standing, i got the incident on tape because you were at the front but didnt film you in pain mate thought it wouldnt be very sporting.

Moley if/when I get back on a bike I will be wearing wrist braces, my thought is the cheaper versions will be bulky but I reckon there will be some high quality items on the market that hopefully wont be too intrusive, if there isnt Ill be talking to one of the compaines like sixsixone to maybe produce something specifically for BMX racing.

Hmm, this makes interesting reading - and it talks about dead peoples arms so you should like it Diggler  ;) No eels though.

Might look into the Flexmeter type, the short type like the 661's might cause a worse injury.  :buck2:

Thats good news Greg!! Davey what the? Painfull or what done it myself along time ago but remember the pain! ouch... heal well my friend!
I've got a Karate course on the 21st......but I'm thinking of missing it just to keep Greg company at Hartlepool. I've had a fab time with you guys this winter, can't believe how much fun it is...but I think its mainly down to all you guys an the atmosphere that you all create!!

Greg, have another look at the 2nd pic that Priv took, you had the snap on the gate my friend, you just need to work on the rest. As said earlier, tracktime is what you need, well, giving up the practice of chainsmoking rollies would help also  ;D

fitness is to me the hard part i was knackered no lie by the time i got half way down the second straight and when the vids are up in sure you will see i was pretty quick till then in every race especially the semiis and finals but after that i was dead.

ps i saw the pic of the gate and thought i was sort of out fast there considering ive only been doing 2 footed starts for 8 races now and still wobbly .cheered me up no end that did
