So i'm about to bleach some white tuffs. I know i have to grease the metal hubs prior. I have removed all i can hardware wise .. but does the rest of the coaster hub come out anyway?
I wont be able to get in to grease the outside of it properly and i dont really want it getting wrecked. But do i have no choice? I dont want to take out the rivets

what i mean is the outside of the cylinder part that you can see through the gaps in the flange when mounted. I aint gonna get grease in there without getting it all over the plastic

Make sure you put Grease on the backs also and in this case all over the central hub section outer or it will corrode to fook
when i bleach tuffs i use a thin artists brush to coat the backs

I had my old steel hubbed tuffs in bleach the other week, i still coated them in grease but missed a few places and when i pulled them out they had rusted to fook where there was no grease and damaged the surface Dave
They where fooked anyway so wasn't really too bothered
