Skyways BMX Restoration Project

Hello Everyone 

Right im working on a copy of a Skyways BMX and it's coming on nicely i must say,iv had a bit of trouble getting parts etc but apart from that going well.

I did find someone on Ebay selling retro bits and came to a agreement on a freewheel rear cog i sent payment by cash in post,and when i emailed the person they said they never got the cash but i did send it so be careful there user name is ROCKCHICK_1 

But anyway here are a few pictures of it what do you think ??

Yeh i did send the cash but i did not send it by recorded delivery so like he says (rockchick_1) my own fault.

Any im not a 100% sure what the frame is but it's very close to the real deal so im been told,think ill have to get in touch with the person i got the frame off see if he knows.

It's just trying to find the bits   can be tough

Yeh thanks it's looking better yeh im unsure about the seat but im going to see what it looks like when i get a few other bits on it

They're from the 80's Neil so are old school  , all be it from the second half of the 80's

I don't use Biagio / Vert-Ego / Rockchick_1 very often, mainly due to pricing.....BUT..... if I am desperate for a specific part and he has it then it's good to know he is there - his prices are often very high but his service (for me at least) has always been spot on and I certainly don't think he is going to steal from you - he's a shop FFS ! he want's repeat custom !

I do think sending cash in the post is pretty naive though - think of all the hands it has to pass through - I think the blame for your lost money may lie elsewhere
