  Not seen a Suntour one before but have seen an ACS (was 1 in For Sale recently) designed to be used with a derailleur?

How's that work then ? 

What do you use to change the gearing over ? Lever ?

The Browning two speed shifting system, came out in about '81 

Will see if I can find the article and ads for it

Doesn't his have the gearing change at the chainwheel rather than the freewheel though

Yep, thisnk it does but the Suntour one goes on the rear as shown in the pic
