a bit careful with a heat gun and it should at least darken off and then it's up to you if you try and mimic the surface with a bit of jiggery pokery :LolLolLolLol:

i thought about that, a mate of mine used to do cosmetic interior repair on cars. fag burns etc. and he had a load of textured paints for plastics. might be worth a try? thats only a real small scuff mind you maybes be making it look worse? there is a lad on burnerworls that makes crappy looking seats look brand new you could ask him?

Hi dean...

If you rub it down and then re-texture it with a spray the textured finish will be completely differant, and then you will have to re-coat all the seat with a satin colour aerosol, which then means you have a sprayed seat, which will make it worthless, leave it as it is,if you heat it up with a hot air gun you will and try melting it you will make it worse, take it from me, i've done thousands of car bumpers.... dont fook about with it or you will make it worse if you dont know what you are doing... best thing you could do is very lightly rub it down with fine wet n dry (maybe 800's) only over the scuffed bit to take the rough edge off then just try to colour it in with a marker or something as the plastic will lighten in colour when its rubbed down...

then leave it alone!!!!    :)

In fact just looking at it again, dont even rub it down, you will make it worse, i dont care how skilled you are!!!   just colour it in a bit with a marker.... ;)
R.I.P  O.M. Far short of the finish line...
