Not really had one myself Ed but i do remember a lad of here sending a frame and forks to SBD to get it powdered which Dan did a great job on only for the lad to find the forks that should have gone with the frame under his desk after the frame had come back .

Just been looking through old pics

Twin pinch flights on my gen1... what was i thinking...

And ive had a cheap powder job done on an s&m dirtbike... it looks shite!

I've got everything for it, it just needs the frame stripping and doing again and i just cant be arsed at the mo... $:-\$

After 2 years ive yet to build an old bike im happy with

tried polishing a stem without sanding it down first, it was covered in little dimples after polishing, had to start it all again. used the z-rim stencils instead of decals, when i painted them the paint got under the stencils and just looked like a blob. when fitting a 3 piece crank the top hat washer wasnt flush with the back of the spider it stuck out about 1mm causing the spider and chainwheel to waggle about, after about 3 hours of doing a basil fawlty i sussed it, sanded it down until it was flush, sorted, i could go on but it might sound like i dont know what im doing

tried pulling some decals off a streetbeat and thought i was doing really well until i noticed 3 lumps of powder missing from the frame

wasnt laughing at the time. i use a hair dryer now

fresh yellow coat and decals on 84 pro performer , then squashed the bottom bracket races with a vice(over tighting), chipping the colour off left ,right and centre
