So tell us what things you have done that have gone wrong or been total cock ups ...

if all the pitfalls get listed here then it might help others not suffer the same cock ups.

"if you never make any mistakes then you never make anything at all"
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

tried polishing a stem without sanding it down first, it was covered in little dimples after polishing, had to start it all again. used the z-rim stencils instead of decals, when i painted them the paint got under the stencils and just looked like a blob. when fitting a 3 piece crank the top hat washer wasnt flush with the back of the spider it stuck out about 1mm causing the spider and chainwheel to waggle about, after about 3 hours of doing a basil fawlty i sussed it, sanded it down until it was flush, sorted, i could go on but it might sound like i dont know what im doing :D

I think THE biggest mistake is simply rushing a build, I've been as guilty as anyone on this and it never looks right

Just remembered that I drilled my cock once whilst putting some rails on a skateboard.

Accidentally like.

Obviously  ::)
