Diamondback Expets help needed......
« on: February 11, 2010, 11:37 AM »
Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone can help me, my brother has just bought a frame of evilbay. it was sold as a DB accomplice '09 but it's not, no biggy the frame looks new and he likes it but we would like to know what it is.

Serial Numbers on B/B.......Drive side says HAM and non drive side says CIC24F0460.

The frame weighs about 5lbs.

lookin for year and model please.

If you notice the difference between the two pics my brothers has 2 cable guides on top tube and no gyro tabs compared with the other pic, also the other pic has a cable guide near the seatpost that my brothers doesn't have.  Any help on this would be great.

Cheers,
Steve :daumenhoch:

:) What bb does it have? I`d have though newer model Accomplice frames would have a mid bb and no gyro tabs?

:) Perhaps the previous owner cut off the tabs/cable guide or maybe someone in the factory got lazy & didn`t weld them on? Still reckon it`s an Accomplice though....DB have upped their game recently but a Euro bb on an 09 FS frame FFS!

I don't think it is an 09, it was sold as one but the 09 accomplice looks like every other N/S nowadays, this to me looks more '00 or there abouts I would just like to know as it's doin my head in.

It's ok my brother has contacted Raleigh who apparently took DB over in 2008 to see if they can help.
