Picked this up today well chuffed, few bits to change but i'm well happy with it. Think i got a good deal too at Â£275

Looks like a good buy to me. I've seen people pay £200 for a nice KZ-1 f+f so you done well there.

Are you leaving it as is or building another one of those Elliott reps?

I'm gonna change a few bits pedals, seat clamp, brakes, stem, tyres & seat (

thats actually nearly everything

) but i want to keep it as a survivor/rider. wheels are the best i've seen for black skyways. I have another set i brought off zippy last weekend i may sell now.

Me misses will kill me, i've just sold a few bikes to clear some space now filling another, well she said the office looked a mess, now it's all in the dining room!!!!

thanks for all your great comments, i've had a few showbikes over the years but now i've got my first rider since i was 16yrs old it feels like i'm 11 again, can't wait to get out on it, and i'm 37, feels kinda weird

lovely bike mate, looks the dogz nutz. its a bit of a fantasy for me didnt know anybody round our way bitd who had one, it was just something i saw in magazines or on the telly, it really is mint..nice1

all i remember about kuwahara's was that a guy i knew won an ET in some competition when the film came out. it's only in the last few months when i've been looking more at race bikes i've started to get mad on them.
