I have a Yamaha BYZ401 with original parts on it, most of the parts on the 201, 301 & 401 were Weinmann, Maillard, and SR.  The parts on the top of the range 501 were Shimano DX.

This is mine, all the parts are restored originals (except tyres, brake cable and levers).

Nice one mate, did you have to get the stickers made or are they available? and are the bars steel or alloy, also do you now if the chrome version was just the 501 or on any other model?
                     many thanks Sham ;)

Sham

I made the stickers and padset myself, the bars are steel on the BYZ401.

The chrome model was the 501 only.

Hi Sham !

I can help you for some parts like the rims , maybe the brakes , cranks and some others parts but which models do you have ? BYZ 501 ( chrome )  or 401 ???

Pictures ???

Here is the catalogue : ( little error on it , the 401 and 501 rims are Weinmann gold ano )

Cheers

I brought the frame off of stuntmaster, but have not received it yet,it is painted at the moment but is `chrome` underneath.it looks to have a steel seat clamp on it and a chrome headset so I am not sure of model at the moment... I will have a good look when I get it,hopefully tomorrow :) then I will now what I need,  cheers all for your help
