They were about, but can't remember how much they cost, I think there is an ad for them on the home page

There was 2 sorts - the freestyle ones that were ok and the shitty ones that were well thin.

I had the shitty ones til I got my OGKs

I think the shittest of them were £35. I was brought up in Cardiff but now live about a mile from where the factory was in Hull. A mate up here worked at a tooling place and a colleague of his made the molds and brought me in the 1st 16" model out of the mold. Sawzall got it now, he's into his British stuff and was the best person to give it to.

I had an Ironhorse BITD, that came with Acorns as standard. Think they were the thin ones like above but in yellow. I thought it was great that I had a 'name' set of wheels

Yup I'm the guy selling some accorns - bought some of a guy in Essex from his old bike shop (along with some other bits - remember the fork standers !)

well i got dying them and had them on the wall for a while - now selling some to make a bit of space cos of moving

Accorn Mags - A cheaper version of the skyway mag they were surpose to be, for the younger kid with out the money - there seem to be about three versions done - first was a plastic hub that was star shaped to the bearing/axle - then was a metal hub with coned out hubs and a bolt and nut system - then there are the sort i have a flat face metal hub.
All made with nylon in them and can be well dyed.
Yes they flex a little bit, but then again they were for the younger rider, who was lighter then the pro kids - and of course if you ride them now a days we are not so light as back in the day

they will suit the young rider of about 4-10yrs old - and not for hard jumps but cruzing around on looking good

i had a set of them for about 3 days before i snapped the spokes in the back un.

they look well dyed up though.

Got a set of Acorn Freestylers in Red sat in the garage, they look like the Aero Zytecs so will be looking to give them a bit of a tidy and see what they are like

Coloured ones look good, they've taken dye quite well.

I remember a kid BITD at Heff's buying a set on a Saturday morning and his dad bringing them back all angry like later in the afternoon, the rear had snapped two spokes and he wanted his money back

i never ever damaged my acorn freestyle wheels. then when i started to buy up everyone who had given up's tuffs i snapped them left, right and centre.... did this maybe coincide with a growth spurt, hitting 6 foot tall and starting to proper hammer it in a late 80s style

here's where i could make the comment "but most of you here wouldn't know about the late 80s"

My mate Baz had a couple of pairs both pairs snapped he gave up after he got his third replacement set and swapped them THEY WERE RUBBISH

I had a set on my Grifter. Needless to say first jump expolded the rear hub to peices. My dad glued it back together and that lasted for about a year.
