polishing is a doddle. I've no idea why more of you don't give it a go.
Downside to polishing - that fookin black dust its all over my feckin shed too
but any polished stem ends up with rounded edges it impossable to keep them sharp

No before pix I'm afraid but it was well beatenAnd a deep H which had been defaced before I got it ... the original steps on the cap centre were smoothed out so I had to carefully bring them back too BEFOREAFTER
Looks nicer than it was, Was this a grind away to non dented depth or was any make up used?
