Dia Compe AD990.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: January 25, 2010, 06:31 PM »
Can anyone give me advice on how to adjust a Dia Compe AD990, is it the norm that the arms rub against each other, I'm sure I read somewhere that you sometimes need to bend one or both of the arms slightly???????

Please help before I take a blow torch to it  :tickedoff:

I've sorted the problem, put the underside of the top arm on a linisher + a bit of filing and HEY PRESTO no more rubbing......and the brakes work perfectly.. :)
