My Supergoose is a May 81 too. No "T" and flattened seat stay. Has the 3 holes in the brake bridge too.
Nice score either way.
Oh and anyone looking for Tuff 1"s try aussie ebay. We always have them.   :daumenhoch:

Looks like the standard model goose, here's a pic of how you could get it back to stock  :daumenhoch:

The ammaco made frames such as the "mongoose wire wheel" were a bit different to this one - different welds, slightly different dropouts etc. Oh and different forks too.  ;)

Not sure on the silver star but it deffo had different forks :)

the build so far

ive used as many standard parts as poss, dans done an amaizing job removeing the chrome them adding the candy blue. the mongoose crank is away getting chromed and ive a set of dia-compe 1020's on way with some pre bent levers. the only part im having trouble finding is the wierd freewheel for the rear steel hubbed tuff

tuffs will have to be dyed next while i try a source a freewheel from the states

sprocket was way to small in the centre hole emailed colourtuffs about it but no reply, ginny rinnis has some that may fit.

Oooh sex. Loving that blue tuff  / knobby combo. Got that 80 - 81 look going on.  How many notches are on the inner ring of the freewheel cog? It's a long shot but may have something. Looks about 8 from here. I'll go digging but don't get your hopes up.

* I had a coaster hub from that era, found the cog, had 3 notches, won't fit , sorry!

it's not far off that blue scott. looks mint mate. measure the hub and i'll see if i have a sprocket for you. With some rat traps and alloy bars it would pass as a team goose in that colour.
looking better than i thought it would anyhow. :daumenhoch:
