« on: January 18, 2010, 08:39 AM »
had a round trip of 180 mile yesterday to see my old mate del ,so i took my camera to show you guys what del puts in to do these decals for us
i had a small frame decal tha i fooked up with a finger print so del set to work which took overall 2.5 hrs to do

1st he scanned it

then he set away drawing  round the whole picture and doing a bit tidying up

then he highlights what he has done and separates the image  , this took forever

then he goes into another program , the on that tell the machine how to print and set the decal out

then loads up the clear paper

hey presto

Actually Daz, that's the £40 Neil paid me for some man love before we started the decals, when he said it took 2.5 hours, it really only took 1hour, the rest of the time he was getting some quality time with yours truly

The Rebel decals that Del made up from scratch (didnt have an original to base them on at the time) were better than the real thing.  Much nicer brighter colours...lol

Made them up from scratch using old adverts and images from the RAD museum... proper ledg.  Didnt think I had any chance of getting repop Rebel decals till I heard about Del. :4_17_5:

tough one... there's quite a few decal sets i really like, the first that come to mind are S&M Heavy as F*ck.. they just look so cool, in fact a lot of the S&M decals are just pure art but a MAJOR pain to keep up with.
