Help building up z'eds!!

[Why isnt this working]

Hi All.

Ive got meself a pair of n.o.s black Z rims but wanted some opinions and help with regards to building them up. Excuse my ignorence but ive never had to do it before as what ive bought in the past has always been pre built.

1. I want to lace them with white spokes but can never seem to find any for sale, can i powder coat some white, will they still fit??
2. Is there a particular spoke I need to buy.
3. What hubs would you go for??? They are for a Firebird freestyler GL. I was thinking large flange as I prefer that look, would they be era correct???
4. Can any bike shop lace them up.

2. Which ever fit with the hubs you choose ******also check the nipples are the correct lenght as well...Z hubs are thicker than "normal" rims****

3. I'd go for High Flange....Always liked a big Flange 

4. No only the RAD SHOP can lace BMX wheels.......Correctly

You are a lovely man my friend many thanks geeza. Mate, them vizbike spokes and anno nipples would be purfect for what i wanna do . I'll keep me eyes open for some large flange black hubs then contact them to see if they will work with what ive got.

No problem fella,

Good look with the Hubs I've been looking for a set for ages 

When you get the hubs check the spoke lengths you need if my memory is correct (and trust me its not good at the mo) I think they are 182mm

There's some posting about spoke lengths for Zd's in the tech section.
