Back on the trail - barcode frame pics now up
« on: February 03, 2014, 11:25 AM »
Hi, I used to be on here a while ago but when the site had its overhaul I could no longer log on  :'(

but I'm back with the same user name and still got a love for all things mid!  so much so that I've just acquired a 2004 Maas made 21 inch T1 barcode frame to build up.

I'll ping up a pic when I get it and will be transferring some of the parts from my S&M RV (Jaymz's old one) onto it.  The RV frame, pit bull brake and racy cranks will have to go but I'm hoping to fit it out with powerbites and some oddy forks with 39/14 gearing

cheers
Gav

Be good to see that T1 when it is made, keep us updated.

Ah cheers, I did wonder and I am paranoid  ;)

anyway, frame just arrived, been rawed by the previous owner and although there are still a few flakes of red paint here and there and a small dint in the drive side chain stay its all good.

has a primo 22mm bb and a CK headset, not bad for 50 notes!!

I bought the burma frame off a guy in Essex must have been around Jan 2009 as I remember I got it and then built it up while it was snowing and couldn't ride for a while.

it was my favourite bike ever and I stupidly postal swapped it for a full sus 4x bike that turned out to be a complete pup

Hey Jaymz ;)

I'm going to keep the T1 raw but get some decals for it in white.  Not gonna be a show pony I just want to get  it built up ASAP.   Need to flog a few bits first to finance the parts I want
