Haro Monocoque
« on: January 04, 2010, 11:05 AM »
Scored a 1997 Haro Monocoque for a great price (Traded a set of 180mm Profiles and $50). It even comes with Answer Alumilite forks and Haro stem. It should arrive on my doorstep in a couple of days.
Anyone else here got one? If so post pics.
Here's the pics of what I scored...

Here she is all stripped down ready for a clean up then a good old polish. Hand etched serial number... 123.

I might be interested in selling or trading the stem if you're interested?

I don't think the 123 is a factory serial number it looks like it was done by a previous owner.

Every 1997 Haro Monocoque had a hand etched serial number. My friends one is also hand etched and is number 142

Do I remember a picture of Simon Tabron flipping one of these, bitd? Perhaps a Ride ad, was he ever on Haro. Love these frames.

How's that stem coming along  ;)
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)
