nearly done 1997 standard trail boss

nearly finished this ,seat and clamp to change and decals are only temporary..home cut suckers..
1997 standard trail boss
standard forks
standard head cups
standard stem  early
standard chain tug  crank side one
profile cranks and chain ring with hop up kit
peregrine super pros with upgraged king axles
comp tyres fatty front
s&m slam bars
seats being changed and clamp..
shimano rear brake with tech 77 lever.cable and pads are modern as its to ride.

cheers ,not this one,its for getting dirty.stickers are on the way and trying to source a seat .
i was going to change a few more bits but it rides friggin sweet just as is.the rear brake has a
torsion bar away getting re chromed but stops on a dime already.

jacks a good lad for letting me have it,its soooo comfy.
21" tt
the whole bikes around 28.5 LB
the frame would be around 7 LB but not precise

I think they are meant to be like that. They are to hold the flex figher plate. They are off center on one side to account for different width mounts.

I have never seen that style stem before.  Awesome build.  I agree that the Shimanos are tits.

re : the stem  i hadnt seen one before like that either,maybe a short run got made or in transition between stems  ..i will ask
i got a few prototype bits from sbc last year and it was in that lot.
