I nearly lost the love for this half way through, i am glad i stuck with it now though.
I had sourced the wrong forks due to lack of knowledge on my part, (i had some earlier cali forks re chromed up for this) and i didn't think the right one's would turn up.
I did end up getting the right one's and the earlier cali forks i had by mistake i ended up doing a straight swap for the Gen 1 goose forks i needed for my team rampar. So it all turned out nice in the end
