ET kuwahara frame and forks...
« on: May 23, 2011, 11:46 AM »
just given this recently found survivor frame and forks some new clothes.  First got it all powdered in a moroon colour to act as a good solid ground coat for the pearl red paint, keyed it all with red scotch and 400 wet n dry before applying the red pearl then left to dry out over night, then masked off the ends of the frame to apply the white and blended in correctly on the top and down tubes, then laquar, one grippa coat and 2 perfect flowing coats leaving about 20mins between each coat. Decals off del obviously then bum bum! done!

All in all about a full days work from start to finish, so if you get quotes off people that may at first seem high think about how much you earn in a day if your self employed,  then add the price of the paints.... :daumenhoch:

not so sure what to do with this right now, i may sell, so if your interested in buying send me a pm...

sam :) :)

I didn't dan, I got my air brush out but there were bits missing, so thought bollocks, I'll use my gun, I turn the pressure right down, had my gun about an inch from the frame and flicked into the White, best one I've done so far, even though I've only done 2... ;D
