Hi,
I am in the Market for some chrome rims,
what's the best chrome rims to get?
I know most pit or peel,
as this forum has a lot of riders thought I would ask!
Cheers Gary

It seems there isn't a top quality chrome rim anymore sadly. My Primo Hula Hoops held up ok, and I'm running an Alien Nation rim at the mo which is holding up, although it's not getting a lot of work out of me lately. It's not going to last I'm sure, but they are cheap....
Couple of people on here rate the Hoffman Generator rim, but I have no experience of them myself.
Everything else seems to bubble at the bat of an eyelid.

See now, there you go. Everyone has differing experiences. In my eyes, Alex rims never help up at all. Especially those poxy Supra E's....
Am I right in saying the G was the top of the range?

Now those squishy clear brake blocks are about you can run a coloured rim and have a brake that works, so no, chrome doesn't have to be the way these days.
I like 'em though

yep the pimo rim is standing the test of time hands down on most others.
odyssey rims bubble before you even get a spoke in them.
