I never knew they were still around!  Cool that they are  :daumenhoch:

They should start making plates and jerseys again.  I think they would sell.

theres also a blurb on crazy ronnie, i'm wearring a zeronine shirt signed by him in that pic, funny i bought the shirt to race in off ebay and it turned up signed !  :daumenhoch:

RONNIE ANDERSON

Inarguably, the "Bad Boy" of BMX. Ronnie became the ABA No. 1 Pro in 1985, in a hotly contested rivalry with Hall of Famer Pete Loncarevich. He is best summarized as the Pro "everyone loved to hate". Ronnie began his BMX career under his brother Richie`s shadow, yet went on to bigger accomplishments in the Pro ranks. He is still today said to be one of the most talented racers BMX has ever seen, yet is better known for his controversial moves on the track and his off the track "Crazy Ronnie" image. For example, he is the only Pro to hold the gate, get off his bike and walk in front of each guy pointing at them, saying "I`m going to beat you, I`m going to beat you...etc." Ronnie`s on track antics has been the inspiration for many of the rules you see in the ABA rulebook. Throughout his career, Ronnie has ridden for Boss, Zeronine, Hardees and pedalpower. He was the only Pro to refuse the car he was given by the ABA. He is also the only No. 1 Pro to ever reclassify to single-A. He is currently living in Northern California with kids that race.
