What does the knurling look like.

I need a set but they need to be originals and not copies. I don't want to get suckered intobuying a copy pair for real pair money.

There's a few different types (I'm no expert like !  :D ) but I think the "moustach" ones have more of a curve at the stem area for better knee clearance  :-\ but 99% have the cross hatch knurling all in one band and nice "overlap" quality welding also look for the bend before the grip area - some copies have a very shallow bend. Like I say I'm no expert on CW's (let's face it they never came on a goose  :P  ) but a few sets have passed through my hands and that's the info I've picked up  :-\

Here's a pro size set I recently sold  :)

overall dimensions 28" wide by 9 1/2" tall

KNURLING

I'm building a bike to a specific spec so they have to be chrome unfortunately.
