It does sometimes Glen, you usualy find that White decent ones command the most £££ followed closely by Blue, Black being the most popular are maybe 40-50 quid less than coloured. Thats my observation anyway

a good used set has just been sold on the bay for just over £160....   and i paid £180 for my mint set....

Leave them in weak bleach for 2 days Glen, take out and scrub with cream cleaner then another two days e.t.c until they are minty White, i did this and mine come up Daz White

Nerdy collector types don't like bolt-on hubs so the bolt-on rear hub might affect the price.  They have the usual hairline cracks at the hub but most used Tuffs have them, don't they?

They will look sweet but who knows what price they'd do if you eBayed them.

 it would put me off buying them, its like buying a frame thats been repaired...

but its definately worth cleaning/minting them up....

Not really, its a service, regrease and clean.  Theres no repairing or damage.

I think sam is reffering to the bolt on hubs as the "repair" mate 

Either way they should still get round the £100 mark I reckon - white or blue alloy hub tuffs alway seem to fetch good money

I think there was a thread somewhere about some of the UK manufactured tuffs being hub-less and the hubs being bolted on 

But judging by the fact that one is already riveted I'd say they were probably replacement hubs BITD for whatever reason - maybe the original ones were overtightened and dished OR an original coaster hub was whipped out and replaced with a freewheel hub 

The replacement bolt on hubs were readily available at the LBS BITD though

sorry for not explaining glen....

 All skyways came with rivited hubs, the bolts mean that the hub has been changed at some point....  no one has yet managed to replicate the rivits as it was done on a special machine,  the bolts just mean its not original so may effect the value...

not relevent but my first pair of green tuffs were the rear only no hubbs bought em from a lbs when it shut, got two wheels no hubs, a front, rear fw, and a coaster hub for 75 quid, chuffed i was
